What Separates a Good Padel Court Builder from the Rest
Building a padel court isn’t complicated — but building it right requires specific experience. The structural tolerances, glass installation sequence, surface preparation and lighting alignment all have to be done in the correct order, by people who’ve done it before. Here’s what to look for.
- Own Installation Team: A builder who uses their own crew — not a local groundworks firm they’ve never worked with before — delivers a consistently better result. And when something needs fixing, they own it.
- Site Survey First: No serious builder quotes without seeing the site. Ground conditions, drainage, access, and overhead clearance all affect the build. A quote without a survey is a guess.
- Certified Output: The finished court should come with CE certification and IPF compliance documentation. Without it, you may not be able to host licensed competitions or secure club accreditation.
- Post-Build Accountability: Ask what happens 12 months after completion. A builder who disappears at handover isn’t a partner — they’re a contractor. Aftercare should be part of the agreement from day one.
How We Build Your Padel Court
Site preparation
We assess and prepare the base — excavation, compaction, drainage installation, and concrete slab pour. This is where most problems originate if not done correctly, so we never cut corners here.
Steel structure
The galvanised or powder-coated frame is erected and anchored to the base. All structural steel meets S-235 JR standards, torqued to specification and checked before glass installation begins.
Glass installation
Tempered glass panels (10mm or 12mm depending on model) are installed in sequence. Every panel is IPF-compliant and meets UNE-EN ISO 12543-2:2011 glass safety standards.
Surface & lighting
ITF/LTA-approved synthetic turf is laid, brushed and infilled. LED lighting is installed to competition lux levels and connected to the electrical supply.
Final check & handover
We run a full pre-handover inspection before signing off. You receive CE certification, IPF compliance documentation, and your 36-month aftercare programme begins.

The physical build — from groundworks start to court handover — typically takes 3–5 weeks. The full project timeline including site survey, design, and any planning requirements is usually 8–16 weeks from first contact.
Do you handle the groundworks yourselves?
Yes. Groundworks are part of our turnkey service. We manage base preparation, drainage and the concrete slab — coordinated by our team, not subcontracted out.
What happens if there’s a problem after the build?
All courts come with a 36-month aftercare programme. If a structural or installation issue arises within that period, we deal with it. You contact us directly — there’s no warranty maze to navigate.
Can you build multiple courts at once?
Yes. We’ve completed multi-court projects and can plan layouts for 2, 4, 6 or more courts on a single site. Multi-court projects benefit from shared groundworks and reduced per-court costs.
